Savannah Plan carefully picked her way down to the lake, also known as Black Lake. She was familiar with the way, since she actually came here quite a lot. This was the place where one could truly be alone. Not many people cane down here. Mainly because it was quite isolated. But Savannah always came here. She wasn't very good at socialising; her shyness crippled her. So instead of staying in the Ravenclaw Commonroom Savannah had come here. She sat down on the ground, a few metres away from the waters edge. She sighed with pleasure and relaxed. Savannah sat there for a few minutes, not really doing anything. But the she heard a snap. Savannah whipped her head around to see who it was.

I carefully made my way down to the Black Lake, my book clutched in one hand. It was The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I had started it this morning and it was gut-wrenching devastating and addicting. I wanted to read it alone, where no one could see me reading it-I had a feeling I was going to get emotional during this book- and the Black Lake had seemed like a good idea. As I slowly made my way down to the Lake, I saw another girl sitting a bit closer to the lake. I didn't want to bother her, so I stopped a bit farther from her. I didn't want her to know I was there- it would disrupt both of our alone times. But, of course, when I sat down I sat directly onto a twig, snapping it. The sound echoed in the silence and I grimaced away from it. The girl's head whipped around and I shyly waved at her. "Sorry," I grimaced, smiling shyly at her.
